Over the past years GÉANT has built up a strong NREN collaboration on clouds, resulting in a portfolio of services (including the services as a result of the IaaS and video conferencing tenders). As part of these efforts, GÉANT has interacted with a number of NRENs outside of Europe, to share experiences: to learn about the work done and explore areas for collaboration.
This meeting will provide an opportunity for GÉANT to describe the work done, benefits for NRENs, and best practices. It will then provide a forum for GÉANT to understand our Global Partners’ current cloud service status and to discuss and agree on areas for collaboration moving forwards.
