14 - F-TICKS for eduGAIN - A Tool to Gather Authentication Traffic

The work described in this abstract builds on the Federated Ticker System (F-TICKS) specification, which was primarily designed to collect authentication traffic from the eduroam service (http://monitor.eduroam.org/f-ticks). It has been proven useful and the same concept is now piloted in web-based authentication scenario to measure the interfederation authentication traffic.
