Alexandra Bech Gjørv

Alexandra Bech Gjørv is the President and CEO of SINTEF, the largest independent research institution in Scandinavia. In addition to playing leadership roles at organisations such as Statoil and Norsk Hydro, Alexandra has also served on the board of a range of industry, energy and media companies in Norway and internationally. She also chaired the national commission investigating the authorities' response to the terrorist attacks at the youth camp at Utøya, 22 of July 2011. With a law degree from the University of Oslo, Alexandra’s academic career boasts qualifications from Oxford University and the Suffolk Law School in Boston.
